Earth is no longer what it was... a sudden and brutal invasion of aliens has decimated populations within a few days and polluted the environment.
The whole ecosystem has been degraded and the air is not breathable anymore by the few survivors.
In a final attempt to defend itself, Humanity has dropped atomic bombs everywhere on the planet making sink our world a little more into the Apocalypse.
Earth Taken 2 kicks off where the first episode ended, ie after the crash that killed all your companions.
You are now the only survivor in search of a habitable place...
