The order of the cards depends on whether the suit is trump (Jack, 9, Ace, 10, King, Queen, 8, 7) or not (Ace, 10, King, Queen, Jack, 9, 8, 7). Players must follow the dominant suit. If a player does not have a card of the dominant suit, he can either discard a card of his choice if his partner is the current trick winner or play a trump otherwise.
