DBZ vs Marvel vs Capcom is a fan-made 2D fighting game that brings together three legendary franchises: Dragon Ball Z, Marvel, and Capcom. Put your favorite characters from these universes against each other in spectacular battles where completely different fighting styles collide: Goku vs. Spider-Man, Vegeta vs. Hulk, Ryu vs. Frieza, or Wolverine vs. Piccolo. The game features 78 fighters and numerous arenas inspired by all three franchises.
Each fighter comes with a complete combat system featuring six basic attacks: three punches and three kicks, each available in light, medium, and heavy strength. On top of that, characters can perform combos, throws, and a wide range of special moves unique to each fighter, based on their signature techniques. Dragon Ball characters can unleash powerful ki attacks and transformations, while Marvel and Capcom fighters offer very different playstyles ranging from close-range brawling to long-range projectiles and special abilities.
The roster includes many iconic characters. From Dragon Ball, you can play as Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Frieza, Majin Vegeta, Vegito, Gotenks, Android 18, Jiren, and more. The Marvel side includes Spider-Man, Wolverine, Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Panther, Magneto, Venom, Doctor Doom, Storm, and others. Capcom is represented by fighters such as Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Akuma, M. Bison, Dante, Mega Man X, Morrigan, Jill Valentine, and Strider Hiryu.
Several game modes are available. Arcade Mode lets you battle through a series of CPU-controlled opponents, while Survival Mode challenges you to last as long as possible against consecutive enemies. Training Mode is perfect for learning controls, combos, and special techniques. A 2-player Versus Mode also allows two players to fight on the same computer, while cooperative modes let you team up against the AI.
