Doki Doki Literature Club! (DDLC for short) is a visual novel that begins as a lighthearted, romantic story before evolving into darker themes, such as depression and anxiety. Your childhood friend Sayori encourages you to join a literature club at school to put down your video games and socialize a little more. There, you'll meet four young girls with different temperaments: Monika, Yuri, Natsuki, and, of course, Sayori. The game is primarily story-driven and requires little player interaction, but the words you choose in your poems will influence the course of the story.
